I am STILL having problems uploading pictures.

I am using the uploader correctly and the image hoster works correctly and allows me to paste the URL to the forum post.

HOWEVER, when I click send, the pictures fail to appear and instead a box with a giant X in it appears.

This happened last time and after a few days I deleted them and re-loaded them and it worked ok.

Does anyone know what the **** is going on as it is seriously doing my head in not being able to add to either the public or the private knowledge banks

I'm not aware of any changes having been made but will look into the matter.

I think Servimg, on the image hosting side, are undertaking some changes, hence the upload issues. I'll keep an eye on it and report when I know more.

I think patience is all I can advise in the interim.

Just had to configure my Firewall setting. I use Norton Internet Security and was logged on to Windows XP using non-administrative user. I had first to log on on to an administrative user then when trying to upload photos to Web-Picasa or to YouTube the firewall automatically enabled Picasa. So when logging again to non-administrative user then Uploading with Picasa to Web-Albums or to YouTube was OK.
