Directions
Park in Bryn Rhyd yr Arian and begin walking to Llansannan. Almost immediately there is a public footpath on the right – follow this across the river and up along the track for about ¼ mile. As you rise you will see “levels” below you on the left. You will also see derelict and mostly ruined buildings by the rivers edge at the end of these levels – the adit is here.

Very little is known. Presumed to be a lead mine.

Description
There seems to be only one adit whose entrance is now “collapsed”. Most probably the landowner has pushed earth over from above.

However, water is flowing freely out of the adit (through the earth) and it would not be a big job to gain entry.

Although the length and details are unknown, there are several ruined buildings by the adit which suggests it may have some substance. Additionally, the presence of water running out of the mine suggests it may be of interest.
