DirectionsTake the main road through Betws Y Coed, past the Swallow Falls and take the track off to the right near the Ugly house. Follow the road up hill, past the right turn but stop on the next corner as the mine is there.
You will see a house, a fenced area saying “danger mine” on the opposite side of the road to the house and the surface workings of the mine on the other side.

Mine AttributesLead and Dunasite
DescriptionThe ruins of the main surface working are preserved as an attraction to passing walkers with information boards strategically situated. There appear to be at least two shafts (sealed) and one horizontal adit (backfilled?) – this adit is in the small fenced area marked “danger mine”
The information board suggests the mine was operational on several levels.
Although the entrances are sealed, it is thought that it is possible to access the mine through Parc mine.
